When I was eight years old, wide eyed and
innocent I answered my parents question about what I wanted
for my birthday with a simple request: I want the Indians to
win a World Series. Many years later I am still waiting for
my parents to deliver. Parents. You think you raise them well
and they grow older and let you down with even the simplist
request. But then, there is always next year.
